The Journal of Popular Noise is a semi-annual audio magazine inspired by the traditions of pop music, printed periodicals, and the delight of a finely crafted artifact. Today I stumbled upon the All Ages Movement Project, it's "a network of community-based organizations that connect young people through independent music and art." Their website has a directory of all ages organizations around the country and a Resource Wiki about best practices for running spaces. They also recently published a guide on starting community spaces. The all ages movement/scene/whatev in Los Angeles was pretty crucial to my personal development, so it's great to see this. Chicago is majorly lacking in the AMP directory. Go over to the site and add your organization!
