The Dark Fair was totally excellent!

You can check out this video to see what it was all about. (Look out for the Chicago crew; we make a brief appearance)

People were really jazzed about the Golden Age booth, and I think the fair was a pretty spectacular experience all around.

Here are two things I have realized recently:

1. I have an almost infinite faith in the collective intelligence of online communities, meaning, I feel like I can find almost any piece of information I need on the WWW if I enter the right Google search terms.

2. I want to own two dogs that are the same breed and are a female and a male. I can't do this now because I have a small apartment and I want to own fairly large dogs. Someday.

Hola! I'm super excited because I'm going to be helping out at Golden Age once a week. Here's a little backstory on how I met Martine and Marco:

In 2005, I met Martine in the dorms of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Martine moved out the next semester because of bad juju with a roommate, but we have been friends ever since. I met Marco in 2006 at the Milwaukee International Art Fair. He explained the meaning of the term "bro'd out" to me.

I am excited to be helping out at the store because I really believe in the M's and I think it's high time the city of Chicago had a store like Golden Age!
