ITEM OF THE WEEK
This week's item is the debut release from brand new Chicago band Golden Birthday.
Golden Birthday overlays old, half-broken drum machines and effect-ey keyboards with satisfying, simple guitar hooks to create warm pop music on their debut record "Infinite Leagues".
Infinite Leagues is earnest pop music stripped down to it's bare elements, lots of love songs and lots of songs about the loss of love. A very satisfying/romantic listen; put this record on while making dinner for your significant other as the leaves are falling outside and watch the sparks fly. Perfect fall album.
Available on LP and CD, LP's pressed on clear vinyl and limited to 500 copies.
